Utility Items
  • Grapple Beam: Acquired on Bryyo. Allows Samus to swing across large gaps using grapple points and pull down specific objects.
  • Grapple Voltage: An upgrade to the Grapple Beam, acquired on Elysia. Allows Samus to siphon energy from power conduits or enemies, often used to activate machinery or overload enemy shields.
  • Screw Attack: Acquired late in the game. A powerful offensive and defensive maneuver in Morph Ball form, allowing Samus to become temporarily invulnerable and damage enemies by rolling into them. Also allows for extended jumps.
  • Ship Grapple: An upgrade for your Gunship. Allows your ship to grapple and move large objects in the environment, often used to clear paths or solve large-scale puzzles.

Each utility item significantly expands Samus's capabilities, making previously inaccessible areas reachable and providing new tactical options in combat. Remember to experiment with new items as soon as you acquire them to understand their full potential.
