How to Beat Phazon Colossus

The Phazon Colossus is a formidable foe encountered deep within the Geothermal Core, heavily mutated by Phazon. Phase 1: The Colossus is slow but powerful, primarily using ground slams that create shockwaves and firing large Phazon projectiles. Its main weak point is a large Phazon crystal embedded in its chest, but it's initially shielded. Focus on dodging its attacks and using charged Plasma Beam shots on its limbs to temporarily stun it. Phase 2: After taking enough damage to its limbs, the Colossus will briefly expose the Phazon crystal on its chest. This is your window to unleash Super Missiles or fully charged Plasma Beam shots. It will also start summoning Phazon Grunts; prioritize eliminating these as they can quickly overwhelm you. Phase 3: The Colossus becomes enraged, moving faster and attacking more frequently. Its Phazon crystal will glow intensely, indicating a powerful Phazon beam attack. Dodge this by strafing rapidly. Continue to stun its limbs and target the exposed crystal. Reward: Energy Tank.
