Visor Modes & Utility

Beyond the standard Combat Visor, Samus gains access to several specialized visor modes that provide unique utility. The Scan Visor (L button) is your primary tool for information gathering and puzzle-solving. The Thermal Visor allows you to see heat satures, revealing invisible enemies, hidden pathways, and vulnerable points on certain machinery. The X-Ray Visor (acquired later) can see through walls, revealing hidden items, enemies, and structural weaknesses. Switching between visors quickly is essential for navigating complex environments and gaining a tactical advantage in combat. For instance, using the Thermal Visor to spot an invisible enemy before switching to the Combat Visor to engage can turn the tide of a difficult fight. Always be aware of your surroundings and use the appropriate visor.
