Beam Weapon Enhancements

Charge Beam Module:
Location: Arcterra Research Outpost - Cryo-Containment Unit. After defeating the Frost Maw mini-boss, the path to the Cryo-Containment Unit will unlock. Navigate through the frozen corridors, using your Morph Ball to access a hidden vent on the ceiling of the main chamber. The module is housed within a deactivated energy field. To disable it, locate and shoot the three glowing conduits on the walls, then activate the central console.

Strategy: The Charge Beam allows you to hold your fire for a more powerful shot, essential for breaking certain reinforced doors and dealing burst damage to larger enemies. Master its timing for optimal combat efficiency.
Plasma Beam Upgrade:
Location: Xylos Jungle - Ancient Temple Ruins. This upgrade is deep within the overgrown ruins. You'll need the Grapple Beam to cross a large chasm in the Verdant Ascent area. Once across, solve the rotating pillar puzzle in the Sunken Sanctuary to reveal a hidden passage. The Plasma Beam is at the end of this passage, guarded by several Xylosian Sentinels.

Strategy: The Plasma Beam offers increased damage and the ability to melt ice and certain metallic barriers. It's invaluable for both combat and environmental traversal. Use it to open new pathways in Arcterra and eliminate heavily armored enemies quickly.
Wave Beam Module:
Location: Phazon Mines - Reactor Core Sigma. This module is notoriously difficult to acquire early. You'll need the Space Jump Boots to reach higher platforms in the Reactor Core. Once there, activate the three power conduits in the correct sequence (indicated by flickering lights) to temporarily disable the force field around the module. Be wary of the Phazon Hoppers that will continuously spawn during this sequence.

Strategy: The Wave Beam allows your shots to pass through walls and certain energy shields, making it excellent for hitting enemies in cover or activating distant switches. Its area-of-effect properties are also useful against swarms of smaller enemies.

Suit and Mobility Enhancements

Morph Ball Bomb:

You'll encounter a series of weak rock formations. The Morph Ball Bomb is located behind one of these, accessible after a short platforming sequence. Look for a distinct crack in the wall that glows faintly when scanned.

Strategy: Essential for breaking weak blocks, activating Morph Ball launchers, and damaging enemies in tight spaces. Master the bomb jump technique for advanced platforming and sequence breaking.
Space Jump Boots:
Location: Elysia Sky-City - Aerodome Control Tower. Access to the Aerodome requires disabling the primary security grid in the Elysian Data Hub. Once inside the Control Tower, you'll face a series of challenging aerial combat encounters with Elysian Drones. After clearing the area, the Space Jump Boots are on the highest platform, requiring precise jumps to reach.

Strategy: Grants Samus the ability to perform multiple jumps in mid-air, drastically increasing mobility and opening up countless new areas previously inaccessible. Crucial for reaching higher ledges and evading enemy attacks.
Gravity Suit:
Location: Phendrana Drifts - Sub-Aquatic Research Facility. This suit upgrade is found deep within the flooded sections of the facility. You'll need the Boost Ball to navigate the underwater currents and activate a series of pressure plates. The Gravity Suit is in a large, central chamber, protected by a powerful Aqua Phazon Leviathan.
