The Logbook is an extensive database that compiles information on every creature, artifact, and environmental element Samus scans. Completing the Logbook is a sificant side activity that enriches the game's narrative and provides valuable tactical information. Every new enemy, plant, or piece of Chozo lore should be scanned at least once. Some entries require multiple scans to fully complete, especially for bosses or unique environmental features. The Logbook also tracks your progress on various collectibles. Dedicate time to scanning everything you encounter; not only does it contribute to 100% completion, but it also offers fascinating insights into the Metroid universe and the history of the planets you explore. Certain lore entries can even hint at hidden pathways or puzzle solutions.
