All Energy Tank Locations
Energy Tanks are the most fundamental health upgrades in Metroid Prime Remastered, directly increasing Samus Aran's maximum health. Collecting these vital items is paramount to surviving the increasingly dangerous encounters and harsh environments of Tallon IV. There are a total of 14 Energy Tanks to find, each requiring a degree of exploration and often the use of specific suit upgrades.

- Chozo Ruins: Several Energy Tanks are hidden within the Chozo Ruins. Look in areas like the Arboretum, the Water Processing, and the Hall of the Elders. Some may require the Morph Ball to access small tunnels or activate switches.
- Magmoor Caverns: This volcanic region contains a few Energy Tanks. You might find them in the Lava Lake or the Twin Fires, often requiring the Varia Suit for heat protection or the Space Jump to reach elevated platforms.
- Phendrana Drifts: The icy expanses of Phendrana Drifts also hold Energy Tanks. Seek them out in locations such as the Phendrana Shorelines and the Research Entrance. The Gravity Suit is often necessary to explore submerged areas or navigate through icy water.
- Phazon Mines: This industrial zone features several Energy Tanks, particularly in the Ore Processing and Central Hub. Power Bombs are frequently needed to clear debris blocking access to these valuable upgrades.
- Tallon Overworld: Even the initial areas and their immediate surroundings contain Energy Tanks. Explore the Crash Site and the Great Southeast Hall thoroughly.
