The Scan Visor is your most powerful tool. Use it frequently on everything: enemies, environmental objects, terminals, and even Samus's own suit. Scanning enemies reveals their weaknesses and attack patterns, making combat much easier. Scanning lore entries (marked with a red icon) provides invaluable backstory about Tallon IV, the Chozo, and the Space Pirates. Completing your Log Book by scanning everything is also essential for 100% completion and unlocks bonus content.
