The second and final form of Metroid Prime is its true core, a Phazon-infused entity. During this fight, you will automatically acquire the Phazon Suit. The only way to damage Metroid Prime's core is by standing in the glowing Phazon pools that appear on the ground, which will activate your Phazon Beam. Fire the Phazon Beam at its core while avoiding its relentless attacks. It will frequently disappear and reappear, requiring you to quickly find a new Phazon pool. This is a test of endurance and precise movement.
