Before you can enter the Impact Crater, you must collect all 12 Chozo Artifacts scattered across Tallon IV. These are often hidden behind complex puzzles, powerful enemies, or require specific abilities to reach. The Artifact Temple in Tallon Overworld will show you which artifacts you've collected and provide hints for the remaining ones. Use your map and Scan Visor to track them down. This is a significant backtracking phase.
