After defeating the first Gamma Metroid, continue exploring the left side of the map. You'll eventually come across a room with a glowing, pulsating orb. Interact with this orb to acquire the Scan Pulse Aeion Ability. This ability is incredibly useful for revealing hidden blocks, pathways, and item locations on your map. Immediately use it in the surrounding rooms to uncover any secrets you might have missed. The Scan Pulse has a limited range, so use it strategically. With Scan Pulse, you can now find a hidden path leading downwards, which will take you to the next set of Metroids. Remember to check your map frequently for newly revealed areas and item icons.
