Upon entering Area 2, you'll immediately notice the presence of lava. Lava is a significant environmental hazard that deals continuous damage. You'll need to find ways to cross these pits. Look for platforms, destructible blocks that create temporary pathways, and grapple points. The Spider Ball, which you'll acquire later, will be essential for navigating many of these areas. For now, rely on careful platforming and using your Scan Pulse to reveal hidden blocks that might form bridges. Some enemies in this area are also immune to your standard beam, requiring precise Melee Counters or Missile usage. Be on the lookout for Energy Tanks to mitigate lava damage.
