Chozo Lore & Statues

Throughout SR388, you'll encounter ancient Chozo Statues and glyphs. While not directly providing upgrades, these offer valuable insights into the lore of the Metroid universe, the history of the Chozo, and the purpose of their experiments on SR388. Some statues will react to Samus's presence, revealing hidden paths or providing cryptic messages. Others simply serve as environmental storytelling. There are also specific Chozo Statues that act as item dispensers, granting you a major upgrade (like the Varia Suit or Gravity Suit) after you've defeated a certain number of Metroids in an area. Keep an eye out for these; they are often marked on your map once you've cleared the required Metroid count.
