Missile Expansions increase your maximum Missile capacity by 3. Given that Missiles are your primary source of heavy damage against Metroids and bosses, collecting as many as possible is highly recommended. There are numerous Missile Expansions throughout the game, often hidden in small alcoves, behind breakable walls, or requiring precise platforming. Like Energy Tanks, the Scan Pulse will reveal their locations on your map once you're in range. Some Missile Expansions are found in groups of three, forming a Missile Tank, which grants a larger boost to your capacity. Don't overlook these; a higher Missile count means more sustained damage output in critical fights.
