Mecha Ridley is a robotic replica of Ridley, encountered during the escape from the Space Pirate mothership. This is a final, unexpected boss battle that tests your mastery of Samus's full arsenal. You should have all Power Suit upgrades and a good supply of Super Missiles.
Attacks:
- Eye Lasers: Fires multiple laser beams from its eyes.
- Missile Barrage: Launches a volley of missiles from its chest.
- Claw Swipe: Attempts to swipe Samus if she gets too close.
- Minion Deployment: May deploy smaller enemies to distract Samus.
Strategy:
- Weakness: The glowing red core in its chest is its primary weak point.
- Tactics: Stay mobile, constantly jumping and using the platforms to avoid its attacks. Focus all your Missiles and Super Missiles on the red core whenever it's exposed. The Screw Attack can be useful for clearing any deployed minions.
- Recommended Ammo: Super Missiles are highly effective. Use regular Missiles if you run out.
