In Metroid: Zero Mission, you primarily play as Samus Aran, the galaxy's greatest bounty hunter. While there aren't traditional 'character builds' in the RPG sense, Samus's effectiveness is entirely dependent on the power-ups and equipment she acquires throughout her journey. This section details Samus's abilities and how the various suit upgrades and beam enhancements contribute to her overall 'build' and combat prowess.

Understanding how each power-up synergizes with others is key to mastering Samus's capabilities. For instance, combining the Varia Suit with Energy Tanks makes her incredibly durable, while the Screw Attack combined with High Jump Boots turns her into a destructive force.
