Ridley, the Space Pirate general and Samus's archnemesis, awaits in his fiery chamber. To reach him, you'll need to use Power Bombs to clear a path. His chamber is usually located in the deepest part of his lair, often requiring a long descent.
Strategy:
- Phase 1: Ridley flies around the room, spitting fireballs and occasionally swooping down to attack. His tail is also a dangerous weapon.
- Weakness: Ridley's head and mouth are his weak points.
- Recommended Ammo: Super Missiles are highly effective against Ridley. Missiles can also be used, but Super Missiles deal significantly more damage. Aim for his head when he's close or his mouth when he opens it to spit fire.
- Tactics: Stay mobile, constantly jumping and dodging his fireballs. Use the platforms to get a better angle. When he swoops down, try to get a few shots in before he retreats.
This is a challenging fight. Be patient, dodge his attacks, and unleash your most powerful weapons on his weak points. After a fierce battle, Ridley will fall, opening the path to Tourian.
