  • Wall Jump: While clinging to a wall (with Power Grip), jump towards the wall, then quickly press the opposite direction and jump again. This allows Samus to ascend vertical shafts without Space Jump.
  • Bomb Jump: In Morph Ball form, drop a Bomb, then immediately drop another. The first Bomb's explosion will propel Samus upwards, allowing her to drop a third Bomb mid-air for continuous vertical movement. This is crucial for early access to certain areas.
  • Shinespark: After activating Speed Booster (by running for a few seconds), press 'Down' to store the charge. Then, press 'A' while holding a direction (or 'Up' for vertical, 'Down' for diagonal) to unleash a powerful, damaging burst of speed. This can break through special blocks and deal massive damage.
  • Mockball: A very advanced technique where you run at full speed, then quickly press 'Down' to Morph Ball and 'Left' or 'Right' to maintain momentum, allowing you to roll through 1-block wide gaps without stopping.

Practice these techniques in safe areas until you can perform them consistently. They are essential for speedrunning and sequence breaking.
