Utilize the platforms in the room to your advantage, jumping to avoid his attacks and get better firing angles. The Screw Attack can also be effective if you can time your jumps to hit him. Be prepared for a prolonged battle, as Ridley has a large health pool. After defeating Ridley, a crucial path will open, leading you closer to Tourian.
