Kraid's Lair is a sub-area accessible from Brinstar, typically after acquiring enough Missiles and potentially the Varia Suit. This area is home to the first of the two main Space Pirate commanders, Kraid. The environment here is often characterized by green, organic-looking structures and unique enemies. Prepare for a challenging boss fight and ensure you have a good supply of Missiles and Energy Tanks before venturing too deep.
