Ridley's Lair is another major sub-area, typically accessed from Norfair. This fiery, orange-hued region is home to the cunning Space Pirate general, Ridley. Like Kraid's Lair, this area is designed to test your combat and exploration skills. Expect tougher enemies and more intricate environmental puzzles. Acquiring the High Jump Boots and additional Energy Tanks is highly recommended before facing Ridley.
