Their effectiveness is measured by their mining speed and durability, which vary based on the material they are made from.
Crafting Shovels
Shovels can be crafted from various materials, each offering different levels of efficiency and durability. The basic crafting recipe involves placing two sticks vertically in the crafting grid and then placing the material of your choice in the row above the sticks.

- Unbreaking: Increases the durability of the shovel, making it last longer. Unbreaking III is the highest level.

- Fortune: Increases the number of drops from certain blocks (e.g., more clay balls from clay blocks). Fortune III is the highest level.
- Silk Touch: Allows the shovel to mine blocks in their original form (e.g., mining a Grass Block will drop a Grass Block instead of dirt).
