Base building is a core mechanic in Miscreated, offering a safe haven, storage, and a strategic advantage. It's a significant time and resource investment, but a well-built base can protect you from both the environment and other players. You'll start with basic structures and gradually upgrade to more robust defenses. The first step is finding a suitable location: secluded, defensible, and ideally near resources like wood and stone. Avoid high-traffic areas unless you're prepared for constant raids.

To begin building, you'll need a 'Hammer' and various resources. 'Wood Logs' are obtained by chopping down trees with an axe, and 'Stones' are gathered from rocks with a pickaxe. These raw materials are then processed into 'Wood Planks' at a 'Sawmill' or by crafting 'Wood Piles' and 'Stone Piles' at your base. The 'Crafting Menu' (accessed via 'Tab' or 'I') will show you all available base parts. Start with a 'Foundation', then add 'Walls', 'Doors', and a 'Roof'. Secure your base with 'Code Locks' or 'Key Locks' to prevent unauthorized entry. Remember, no base is truly impenetrable, so strategic placement and layered defenses are key.
