The Brute, often referred to as the 'Heavy Mutant', is one of the most formidable PVE threats in Miscreated. These hulking, heavily mutated creatures are slow-moving but possess immense health and devastating melee attacks. They are typically found guarding high-value military installations, bunkers, and sometimes in larger cities. Encountering a Brute unprepared is often a death sentence.

Characteristics:
- High Health: Requires a significant amount of sustained damage to take down.
- Powerful Melee Attacks: Can knock players down and deal massive damage in a single hit.
- Slow Movement: Their primary weakness, allowing for kiting strategies.
- Resistant to Headshots: While headshots still deal more damage, they are not as effective as against regular mutants due to their thick, mutated skull.
- Loot: Often drops high-tier military gear, rare crafting components, and sometimes unique items.
Strategy:
- Maintain Distance: The Brute's greatest weakness is its speed. Use a fast weapon (Assault Rifle, SMG) and continuously move backward or circle it, firing into its body.
- Target the Back/Legs: While headshots are less effective, targeting the back or legs can sometimes yield better results than the heavily armored front.
- Use Explosives: 'Grenades' or 'C4' can deal significant damage, but are often too valuable to waste on a single PVE encounter unless absolutely necessary.
- Environmental Advantages: Use obstacles like cars, buildings, or fences to create distance or break line of sight. You can sometimes kite them around structures.
- Teamwork: With multiple players, one can kite while others focus fire.
- Avoid Melee: Never engage a Brute in melee combat unless you have no other option and are prepared to die.
Patience and a steady supply of ammunition are key to defeating a Brute. Don't rush, and always have an escape route planned.
