The Screamer is a unique and dangerous mutant that specializes in ranged attacks and crowd control. Unlike other mutants, Screamers will keep their distance, emitting a high-pitched shriek that disorients players and attracts hordes of other mutants to their location. They are typically found in open areas, on rooftops, or elevated positions, making them difficult to approach.

Characteristics:
- Ranged Scream Attack: Deals moderate damage, disorients You (blurry vision, impaired movement), and calls in nearby mutants.
- Low Health: Relatively fragile compared to the Brute, but difficult to hit due to distance.
- Fast Movement: Can quickly reposition to maintain distance.
- Attracts Hordes: Their primary danger is the ability to summon multiple regular mutants, overwhelming players.
Strategy:
- Prioritize the Screamer: If you hear a Screamer, eliminate it first. The longer it lives, the more mutants it will summon.
- Use Long-Range Weapons: Sniper Rifles or Assault Rifles with scopes are ideal for taking down Screamers from a distance before they can react.
- Seek Cover: If you are hit by a scream, immediately find cover to avoid the incoming horde.
- Flank and Rush: If you don't have a long-range weapon, try to flank the Screamer and close the distance quickly. Shotguns or SMGs can be effective once you're close.
- Environmental Awareness: Be mindful of your surroundings. Don't engage a Screamer in an area where you can be easily surrounded by the summoned horde.
Dealing with a Screamer requires quick action and often a good long-range weapon. Failing to eliminate it swiftly can turn a simple encounter into a desperate fight against overwhelming numbers.
