A Great Izuchi Hunt
Objective: Hunt a Great Izuchi.
Strategy: The Great Izuchi is your first large monster. It's relatively slow and its attacks are telegraphed. Focus on dodging its tail swipes and pounces. It often calls smaller Izuchi to assist; take them out first to avoid being overwhelmed. Use your Wirebug to escape danger or close distances quickly. Gather herbs and mushrooms in the Shrine Ruins to craft Potions if needed.
Rewards: Great Izuchi Hide, Great Izuchi Pelt, Great Izuchi Claw, Monster Bone S.
Roly-Poly Predation
Objective: Hunt 8 Izuchi.
Strategy: This quest is a simple culling mission. Izuchi are small, agile monsters. Use wide-sweeping attacks to hit multiple at once. They pose little threat individually but can be annoying in groups. Focus on gathering resources while completing this quest.
Rewards: Izuchi Hide, Izuchi Pelt, Monster Bone S.
Gargwa's Great Escape
Objective: Deliver 3 Gargwa Eggs.
Strategy: Gargwa Eggs are found in Gargwa nests, typically in areas 1 and 5 of the Shrine Ruins. You'll need to pick up an egg and carry it back to the Supply Box at your camp. Be careful, as carrying an egg prevents you from dodging or using your weapon. If you get hit, you'll drop the egg. Ride your Palamute for faster travel and to avoid small monsters. You can also use a Farcaster to instantly return to camp if things get too hairy.
Rewards: Kamura Ticket, Armor Sphere.
A Frosty Paradise
Objective: Hunt a Great Baggi.
Strategy: The Great Baggi is found in the Frost Islands. Its main gimmick is its ability to inflict Sleep. If you see it rear back and spit a blue fluid, dodge! If you get slept, rapidly mash buttons to wake up before it attacks. It's similar in pattern to the Great Izuchi, so apply similar strategies. Focus on its head for stun opportunities.
Rewards: Great Baggi Hide, Great Baggi Claw, Sleep Sac.
