Character Creation
Upon starting a new game, you'll be presented with a robust character creation suite. This allows you to meticulously des your hunter's:
- Gender: Choose between male and female models.
- Voice: Select from several voice types that will be used for battle cries and emotes.
- Facial Features: Adjust skin tone, hairstyle, hair color, eyebrows, eye shape, eye color, nose, mouth, jawline, and more.
- Makeup: Apply various makeup styles and colors.

Layered Armor: A key feature in Monster Hunter Rise (and expanded in Sunbreak) is Layered Armor. This system allows you to equip cosmetic armor pieces that override your equipped armor's appearance without affecting your stats or skills. You can obtain Layered Armor through various means:
- Crafting: Many Layered Armor sets can be crafted using specific materials, often from event quests or by trading in certain items.
- DLC: Some Layered Armor sets are available as paid downloadable content.
