Feelin' Kulu-Kulu

Objective: Hunt a Kulu-Ya-Ku.

Strategy: Kulu-Ya-Ku is a bird wyvern known for picking up rocks to use as shields or weapons. When it's holding a rock, its head is protected, so aim for its legs or tail. You can use a Flash Bomb to make it drop the rock, creating a large opening. It's not particularly aggressive, making it a good monster to practice your weapon combos on.

Rewards: Kulu-Ya-Ku Hide, Kulu-Ya-Ku Plume, Kulu-Ya-Ku Beak.

Noisy Nuisance

Objective: Hunt a Tetranadon.

Strategy: The Tetranadon is a large, amphibious monster. It can inflate its belly with water, making it slower but increasing its attack range and power. When it's inflated, focus on its legs to trip it. When it's deflated, its head and arms are vulnerable. Watch out for its sumo-style slams and water-spitting attacks. It's weak to Thunder.

Rewards: Tetranadon Hide, Tetranadon Carapace, Tetranadon Beak.

Obstructing the Outcrop

Objective: Hunt a Barroth.

Strategy: Barroth is a Brute Wyvern covered in mud. Its mud armor provides defense and can inflict Waterblight. Breaking off the mud will expose its weak points. It often shakes off mud, creating projectiles. Its head is a weak point, but also where it performs its powerful head slams. Use Water element attacks to wash off its mud, or Fire to dry it out. It's found in the Sandy Plains.

Rewards: Barroth Shell, Barroth Claw, Barroth Tail.

Spongy Somnolence

Objective: Hunt a Somnacanth.

Strategy: Somnacanth is an elegant, aquatic monster that uses sleep-inducing powder and ice attacks. It's very agile and can slide around on its tail. When it stands on its tail, it's preparing a powerful attack or emitting sleep powder. Use Wirebugs to quickly get behind it or dodge its wide-sweeping attacks. It's weak to Fire and Thunder.

Rewards: Somnacanth Scale, Somnacanth Shell, Somnacanth Fin.
