Rathian is a classic flying wyvern known for her poisonous tail and fire breath. She's a good test of your aerial monster combat skills.

Poison Tail Flip: Her signature move. She'll often do a backflip, slamming her poisonous tail down. This is highly dangerous. Always try to stay to her sides or front when she's on the ground. If you get poisoned, use an Antidote or Herbal Medicine immediately.
Fire Breath: She spits fireballs, sometimes in a single shot, sometimes in a triple burst. These are usually telegraphed by her rearing her head back.
Charge: A straightforward charge attack. Dodge to the side.
Aerial Attacks: When flying, she might swoop down or perform a flying tail flip. Use Flash Bombs to knock her out of the sky, creating large openings.
Weak Points: Her head is a major weak point. Breaking her tail will prevent her from inflicting poison with her tail attacks.
