Exploring each hunting locale thoroughly can yield valuable rewards, including hidden sub-camps and ancient Relic Records.
Sub-Camps:
- Fast Travel: Sub-camps act as additional fast travel points within a map, allowing you to quickly reach different areas.
- Unlock Quests: To unlock a sub-camp, you first need to find its location in an expedition. Then, a villager (usually Kagero the Merchant) will give you a request to gather specific materials or hunt certain monsters.
- Benefits: Having multiple sub-camps significantly reduces travel time and makes gathering more efficient.
Relic Records (Old Messages):
- Lore & Collectibles: These are small scrolls scattered throughout each map, providing snippets of lore and backstory.
- Kamura Points: Collecting them earns you Kamura Points, which can be used at various vendors.
- Decorations: Collecting all Relic Records in a specific map will unlock a unique decoration for your room.
