Desert Oasis Dungeon Map
The Desert Oasis is a harsh yet resource-rich environment, characterized by vast sand dunes, rocky mesas, and the life-giving oasis at its heart. This map details the most fruitful areas for exploration, resource acquisition, and monster hunting. The initial area, the "Scorched Flats," is a desolate expanse where you'll find common resources like Cactus Flesh and Sandstone. Keep an eye out for Qurupeco, which can call for reinforcements, making encounters more challenging. Qurupeco are weak to Ice and Thunder.
As you venture towards the "Sunken Ruins" (Zone 2), the landscape shifts to reveal ancient, crumbling structures partially buried by sand. This zone is a treasure trove for rare materials, including Obsidian Shards and Ancient Fossil. The ruins are often guarded by Diablos, powerful wyverns known for their devastating charge attacks and burrowing abilities. Diablos are weak to Ice and Paralysis. A successful hunt has a 35% chance of yielding a Diablos Egg. Within the Sunken Ruins, a specific set of crumbling pillars conceals a hidden passage leading to a chest containing the Desert Serpent's Fang, a potent weapon component.
The "Emerald Oasis" (Zone 3) is the focal point of this dungeon, a lush pocket of life amidst the arid desert. Here, you'll find rare medicinal herbs and unique flora. However, the oasis is also a hunting ground for the formidable Lagiacrus, a serpentine leviathan that wields powerful lightning attacks. Lagiacrus are weak to Fire and Poison. Defeating a Lagiacrus offers a 25% chance of obtaining a Lagiacrus Egg. Near the central pool of the oasis, look for a cluster of unusually vibrant cacti; a careful inspection reveals a hidden chest containing the Oasis Bloom Charm, which passively regenerates 5% of your HP every 2 minutes.
