Upon successfully defeating the Quematrice, you'll return to Base Camp and receive the crucial holster from Gemma. This allows you to equip and switch between a primary and a secondary weapon on the fly, attached to your Seikret. Following this, Y'sai will invite you to visit Windsong Village. Before departing, ensure you speak with Tom at the Ingredient Center to receive 7 Rations, and Ferdinand the researcher, who will grant you the Monster Field Guide. You can also optionally speak with Nata outside your tent. Once prepared, approach Y'sai to travel to Kunafa Windsong Village. After the cutscene, speak with Elder Ela and Amone, who is tending a fire. Explore the village briefly before speaking with Y'sai at his home to trigger a cutscene and progress the story.
