Monster Hunter Wilds offers extensive character customization, allowing players to design both their Hunter and Palico with freedom to adjust physique. This customization data will carry over to the full game. The game's opening cutscene and a basic tutorial hunt for the Chatacabra are available as a story trial.
Character and Companion Customization
- Hunter Customization: Players can extensively customize their Hunter's physique and overall design.
- Palico Customization: Similar to the Hunter, Palicoes can also be fully designed and customized.
- Data Transfer: All character creation data for both Hunter and Palico will transfer to the full game upon release.
Trial Experience
A story trial allows players to experience the opening cutscene and a basic tutorial hunt for the Chatacabra. This trial includes fundamental gameplay mechanics for newcomers. Note that progress from this trial will not transfer to the main game.
Multiplayer and Support
During a Doshaguma hunt, multiplayer mode allows players to call for help using SOS flares. If there are not enough human players, up to three NPC support hunters will join the quest to assist.
