Your journey begins with creating your Hunter and your Palico companion. While character appearance doesn't affect gameplay, it's your avatar in the New World, so make it count! You'll have extensive options for facial features, hairstyles, body types, and voice. Don't forget your Palico, your trusty Felyne companion, who will assist you in every hunt. Choose their fur, patterns, and voice. Remember, you can change your Hunter's appearance (excluding gender) later using a Character Edit Voucher, but Palico appearance is permanent.
