The Krypt in Mortal Kombat 11 is more than just a place to spend your Koins; it's a sprawling, puzzle-filled labyrinth offering unique rewards, character skins, gear, and even Fatalities. Navigating its depths requires keen observation, specific items, and sometimes, a bit of brute force. This section will guide you through the most intricate puzzles, ensuring you unlock every secret the Krypt holds.

The Dragon Amulet & Goro's Lair Access

Your journey into the deeper parts of the Krypt often begins with gaining access to Goro's Lair. This requires a key item and a specific interaction.

• Item Required: The Dragon Amulet.
• Location: The Dragon Amulet is found in the Courtyard, specifically on the large gong to the right of the main entrance. You'll need to strike the gong with the Hammer of the Elder Gods (obtained from the Forge by crafting) to reveal it.
• Solution:
  1. Head to the Courtyard.
  2. Locate the large gong on the right side.
  3. Equip the Hammer of the Elder Gods from your inventory.
  4. Interact with the gong to strike it. This will cause the Dragon Amulet to fall.
  5. Pick up the Dragon Amulet.
  6. Proceed to the main Courtyard entrance and look for the large, sealed gate adorned with a dragon symbol.
  7. Interact with the gate while possessing the Dragon Amulet to open the path to Goro's Lair.

Ermac's Amulet & The Bottomless Pit

Deep within Goro's Lair, you'll encounter a seemingly bottomless pit. To cross it and access further areas, you'll need a special item and a leap of faith.

• Item Required: Ermac's Amulet.
• Location: Ermac's Amulet is found in the Lower Courtyard, specifically hanging from a broken bridge section above the pit where you initially find the Blindfold of Kenshi. You'll need to use the Hammer of the Elder Gods to knock it down.
• Solution:
  1. Once inside Goro's Lair, navigate to the Lower Courtyard area.
  2. Look up towards the broken bridge section. You'll see a glowing item – Ermac's Amulet – dangling precariously.
  3. Equip the Hammer of the Elder Gods.
  4. Aim and strike the broken bridge section near the amulet to dislodge it.
  5. Pick up Ermac's Amulet.
  6. Return to the main chamber of Goro's Lair where the large, bottomless pit is located.
  7. Approach the edge of the pit. With Ermac's Amulet in your possession, you will automatically gain the ability to levitate across.
  8. Cross the pit to access the areas beyond, including the Blood Pit.

The Blindfold of Kenshi & Hidden Paths

The Krypt is full of illusions and hidden passages. The Blindfold of Kenshi is crucial for revealing these secrets and accessing otherwise invisible chests and walls.

• Item Required: Blindfold of Kenshi.
• Location: The Blindfold of Kenshi is located in the Lower Courtyard, hanging from a statue near the entrance to Goro's Lair. It's often guarded by a few enemies.
• Solution:
  1. Navigate to the Lower Courtyard, near the entrance to Goro's Lair.
  2. Locate the statue holding the Blindfold of Kenshi.
  3. Defeat any enemies that may be guarding it.
  4. Pick up the Blindfold of Kenshi.
  5. Usage: Equip the Blindfold from your inventory at any point in the Krypt. While wearing it, invisible walls will shimmer, allowing you to walk through them, and hidden chests will become visible. Be aware that wearing the Blindfold drains your Soul Fragments over time, so use it strategically.
  6. Strategic Tip: Use the Blindfold in areas like the Dead Woods, the Torture Halls, and the Kytinn Hive to uncover numerous hidden chests and breakable walls leading to new areas.
