All Optional Objectives per Level
Each of the 30 levels in Moving Out's main story presents players with a set of optional objectives that go beyond simply moving all the required items within the time limit for a gold medal. Upon achieving a gold medal on a level, three bonus objectives are unlocked for that specific stage. These bonus objectives are desed to test players' mastery of the game's mechanics and their ability to navigate the environment efficiently and creatively. Importantly, once a gold medal has been secured, players do not need to worry about the time limit when attempting these bonus objectives; they can take their time to fulfill them. This allows for a more relaxed approach to exploration and experimentation within the level.
The types of optional objectives can vary sificantly from level to level. Some common examples include finding and delivering specific hidden items, such as the Hidden Consoles, which are present in each of the 30 levels. Other objectives might involve interacting with specific environmental elements in a particular way, such as ensuring a certain number of Toilets are moved, or avoiding certain actions, like not slapping a Ghost in the "Mandatory Training" level. The source material also mentions the collection of 10 Mailboxes and a Secret Mailbox, which could be tied to specific bonus objectives in certain levels. For instance, a bonus objective might require delivering a mailbox to a specific location or ensuring all mailboxes are collected. The goal of these optional objectives is to encourage players to explore every nook and cranny of the levels, experiment with different moving strategies, and achieve a higher degree of completion. Successfully completing these bonus objectives often contributes to unlocking cosmetic rewards, such as new outfits for the F.A.R.Ts, adding an extra layer of incentive for dedicated players.
