The Walkthrough section of Moving Out focuses on guiding players through the game's 30 main story levels, with the primary goal of achieving a gold medal in each. Earning a gold medal requires completing the level within a specific time limit. Once a gold medal is secured, players are then presented with three bonus objectives for that level. once the gold medal is achieved, the time limit for subsequent attempts at that level is removed when pursuing the bonus objectives. This allows players to focus solely on completing the additional tasks without the pressure of the clock. The game emphasizes a methodical yet chaotic approach to moving furniture, and the walkthrough aims to provide strategies for efficient item transport and objective completion.

Across the entirety of the main story, players will encounter a total of 30 levels, each with its own unique layout and challenges. For each of these levels, there are three bonus objectives to complete, bringing the total number of objectives to 90. In addition to these, players are tasked with finding 30 hidden consoles, one for each level, adding an element of exploration. The game also features 10 mailboxes and one secret mailbox to locate, as well as 13 toilets that can be moved. Furthermore, players will interact with 7 different animal types throughout their moving endeavors. The walkthrough will detail the optimal routes and techniques for moving various items, from small appliances to larger furniture, ensuring You can meet the gold medal requirements and tackle the bonus objectives effectively. Understanding how to manipulate physics, such as throwing items or using environmental interactions, is key to success.
