Takeover is a temporary, powerful boost activated during games after performing well. You choose your primary and secondary Takeover during MyPLAYER creation.
Common Takeover Options:
- Shot Creator: Boosts contested shot making, off-dribble shooting.
- Playmaker: Boosts passing accuracy, dribbling moves, and teammate shooting.
- Slasher: Boosts driving dunks, layups, and contact finishes.
- Glass Cleaner: Boosts rebounding and putbacks.
- Rim Protector: Boosts shot blocking and interior defense.
- Lockdown Defender: Boosts perimeter defense, steals, and on-ball pressure.
Select Takeovers that amplify your build's primary strengths. For example, a scoring guard might choose Shot Creator and Slasher.
