NBA 2K24's MyTEAM mode introduces several UI enhancements and new features. The XP system has been overhauled, meaning simply playing MyTEAM games earns XP, regardless of winning or losing. MTP earn rates have also been significantly improved across all modes, offering more flexibility for players.

A new multiplayer mode called Salary Cap is coming to MyTEAM, featuring three two-week rounds each Season, each with its own unique structure. Additionally, Coach Cards now offer new Coach Boosts, providing unique advantages in certain game situations. Crossplay is also available for MyTEAM players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, improving matchmaking.
