The Road to Immortality: Post-Game Activities

Once the credits roll, a wealth of new opportunities unlocks, allowing you to further customize your player, dominate the league, and uncover hidden secrets.

  • Legendary Challenges: These are high-difficulty, scenario-based challenges that test your basketball IQ and execution.
    • The "MJ's Ghost" Gauntlet: Located in the Jordan Rec Center, this series of 10 challenges pits you against holographic projections of Michael Jordan's most iconic moments. Completing all 10 rewards you with the exclusive "Air Jordan Legacy" Signature Shoe and a permanent +5 boost to your Mid-Range Shot and Driving Dunk attributes.
    • "Kobe's Mamba Mentality" Drills: Accessible from the Mamba Sports Academy in MyCAREER, these 15 intense drills focus on clutch shooting, defensive lockdown, and offensive versatility. Successfully finishing them grants you the "Black Mamba" Badge (Tier 3) and unlocks the "Mamba Mentality" celebration animation.
  • Franchise Expansion: Beyond your initial team, you can now purchase and manage additional franchises in MyGM mode. This allows for multi-team strategies, player development across different rosters, and increased financial management challenges. Look for the "Franchise Acquisition" option in the MyGM menu after completing your first championship season.
  • Hall of Fame Induction Quests: These narrative-driven quests become available after your player reaches a certain overall rating (95+) and has achieved at least 3 championships. Each quest involves replaying key moments from your career with specific objectives and often features cameo appearances from NBA legends. Completing all quests culminates in your player's virtual Hall of Fame induction ceremony and unlocks the "Immortalized" Player Banner for your MyCOURT.
  • The "Underground League" (The Gauntlet): A new, unsanctioned streetball league appears in the Rooftop Courts district of The City. This league features unique rules, highly skilled AI opponents, and exclusive cosmetic rewards like the "Street Legend" Hoodie and "Graffiti" Basketball. Winning the entire Gauntlet unlocks the ability to recruit these streetball legends as MyTEAM cards.

New Game+: Rebirth and Re-Dominance

New Game+ (NG+) allows you to restart your MyCAREER journey with significant advantages, offering a fresh perspective on the story and new challenges to overcome. To initiate NG+, simply select "New Game+" from the main menu after completing your first MyCAREER playthrough.

What Carries Over?

  • VC Balance: All your accumulated Virtual Currency (VC) transfers directly to your NG+ save. This allows for immediate upgrades, cosmetic purchases, or MyTEAM pack openings.
  • MyPLAYER Build Progress (Partial): Your primary MyPLAYER build's archetype and initial attribute caps are retained. However, your overall rating will be reset to 60, requiring you to grind for attribute upgrades again. This ensures a sense of progression while still benefiting from your previous choices.
  • Badges (Tier 1 Only): Any Tier 1 badges you unlocked in your previous playthrough will be immediately available for equip in NG+. Higher-tier badges (Tier 2, Tier 3) will need to be re-earned.
  • Cosmetics & Gear: All purchased clothing, accessories, tattoos, and MyCOURT decorations are available from the start in NG+. This includes the exclusive items earned from post-game content.
  • MyTEAM Card Collection (Optional): Upon starting NG+, you'll be given the option to import your entire MyTEAM collection. This allows you to jump straight into competitive MyTEAM play with your established roster. Be aware that importing your collection will increase the difficulty of initial MyTEAM challenges.

New Game+ Exclusive Content

  • "Veteran's Insight" Perk: Available only in NG+, this perk grants you a 10% bonus to all XP earned from games and practices, accelerating your attribute progression.
  • "Legendary Agent" Storyline: A new, branching storyline becomes available in NG+ where you're approached by a mysterious "Legendary Agent" offering unique endorsement deals and career paths that weren't accessible in your first playthrough.
