- Dark Blast: This is your foundational offensive spell, unlocked very early in the game. It fires a concentrated projectile of dark energy. It's quick to cast and has a low MP cost, making it ideal for consistent damage and for interrupting enemy attacks.
- Dark Lance: A more powerful, piercing projectile than Dark Blast. Dark Lance travels further and deals more damage, making it effective against single targets at a distance. It has a slightly higher MP cost and casting time.
- Dark Wall: This defensive spell creates a temporary barrier that can block incoming projectiles. It's invaluable for surviving barrages of Shade attacks, particularly in areas like the Barren Temple where ranged enemies are prevalent.
