Crafting Materials List & Farming Spots
The world of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... is rich with materials that can be gathered and used to upgrade your weapons, enhancing their damage and unlocking new abilities. Understanding where to find these components and how to efficiently farm them is vital for maximizing your combat potential.
One of the most common and essential crafting materials is "Iron". This can be found in abundance in rocky areas and is frequently dropped by Shades. The Junk Heap, particularly its lower levels and the surrounding desert areas, is an excellent spot for farming Iron. You'll often find it scattered on the ground or as loot from defeated enemies. Another crucial material is "Leather". This is primarily obtained from defeated wolves and other animalistic enemies. The Northern Plains, especially the areas near the windmills, are teeming with wolves, making it a prime location for Leather farming. Be prepared for frequent encounters with packs of them. "Cloth" is another frequently needed item, often dropped by humanoid Shades or found in abandoned structures. The Village outskirts and the areas surrounding the Shadow Lord's castle are good places to look for Cloth.
For more advanced upgrades, you'll need rarer materials. "Titanite", for example, is a valuable ore that can be found in mining nodes or dropped by tougher Shades. The Barren Temple, with its numerous mining opportunities, and the deeper sections of the Junk Heap are excellent locations to seek out Titanite. "Moldavite" is another rare gem, often found in chests or dropped by specific enemy types. Keep an eye out for these in the more dangerous and remote areas of the map. Finally, "Royal Jelly", a vital component for high-level weapon upgrades, is notoriously difficult to acquire. It is primarily obtained from specific types of Shades, particularly those found in the latter half of the game, or occasionally as a rare drop from fishing. Farming these materials often involves repeated runs through specific zones. For instance, to farm Iron efficiently, you might repeatedly clear the Junk Heap's lower levels, exiting and re-entering the area to reset enemy spawns and loot. Always ensure you have sufficient inventory space before embarking on a dedicated farming session.
