Seafront Side Quests (Part 2)
With your continued adventures, Seafront unlocks more demanding side quests that require a deeper understanding of its economy and the dangers of the surrounding waters. One such quest is "The Lighthouse Keeper's Revenge". This quest often involves a more dangerous expedition to the lighthouse, where you'll face a sificantly tougher group of Shades, possibly including a mini-boss. The reward for this perilous undertaking is a substantial amount of Gold and potentially a rare crafting material like a Scorpion Tail. Another quest that tests your resourcefulness is "The Merchant's Dilemma". This quest might require you to travel to a distant location, such as the Junk Heap, to retrieve a specific item or deliver a sensitive package. This journey will invariably involve navigating through areas populated by dangerous enemies, so be prepared for combat. The reward for completing this quest is typically a large sum of Gold and sometimes a valuable item that can be sold for a high price, such as a Broken Engine.
Seafront also offers quests that involve its fishing community in more complex ways. "The Angler's Pride" is a challenging fishing quest that requires you to catch a specific, rare fish that only appears under certain conditions, perhaps during a particular time of day or in a specific weather pattern. The reward for mastering these fishing intricacies is usually a very large amount of Gold and sometimes a unique fishing lure that sificantly enhances your fishing capabilities. Furthermore, keep an eye out for quests that involve investigating shipwrecks or retrieving lost cargo from the seabed. These often require you to venture into underwater areas, which may have their own unique set of enemies and environmental challenges. The rewards for these quests are typically a mix of Gold and valuable crafting materials like Metal Pipe or Cloth. It's highly recommended to have your fishing rod upgraded to at least level 2 or 3 before attempting the more difficult fishing quests. These advanced Seafront side quests are excellent for farming Gold, which is crucial for purchasing powerful weapons, upgrading your existing arsenal, and acquiring essential consumables like the Protein Drink for increased attack power.
