Ninja Gaiden Black's combat is all about aggression and precision. Learn to chain attacks, but don't button-mash. Observe enemy attack patterns and exploit openings. Blocking with 'RT' is effective against most physical attacks, but some heavy attacks will break your guard. The 'Ultimate Technique' (hold X or Y until Ryu glows) is a powerful charged attack that consumes Ki but deals massive damage and often clears groups of enemies. For defense, the 'Reverse Wind' (LS + A) dodge is your best friend, allowing you to quickly evade and counter. Remember to dismember enemies to prevent them from regenerating and to set up powerful finishing moves.
