Ryu's primary weapons can be upgraded at Muramasa's shop using collected essence. Each upgrade level increases damage, unlocks new combos, and sometimes changes the weapon's appearance. The Dragon Sword can be upgraded to Level 4, becoming the True Dragon Sword. Other notable weapons include the Vigorian Flail, War Hammer, Lunar Staff, Dabilahro, and the Unlabored Flail (obtained from Golden Scarabs). Prioritize upgrading your most used weapon first, but don't neglect others as they are useful for specific enemy types and situations. The True Dragon Sword is generally considered the most versatile and powerful.
