Discovery Log:
Every time you scan a new species of flora or fauna, or discover a new planet or star system, it's recorded in your Discovery Log. This log serves as your personal encyclopedia of the universe. You earn Nanites for being the first to discover and upload these entities. The more you discover, the higher your standing with the Interloper's Guild.
Tools for Exploration:
- Scanner/Analysis Visor: Essential for identifying and cataloging everything. Upgrades can increase its range and scanning speed.
- Terrain Manipulator: Allows you to dig into the ground, access underground resources, and create pathways.
- Exocraft: Vehicles like the Nomad, Roamer, and Minotaur offer faster planetary traversal and specialized tools.
- Jetpack: Crucial for navigating vertical terrain and reaching inaccessible areas.
Finding New Worlds:
To find truly unique worlds, focus on exploring systems with different star colors (Red, Green, Blue) by acquiring the corresponding Hyperdrive upgrades. These systems often contain planets with exotic biomes and rare resources.
