Installation & First Launch

Before you can embark on your grand adventure, you'll need to install No Man's Sky. Ensure your system meets the minimum requirements for a smooth experience. Once installed, launch the game. You'll be greeted by the iconic Hello Games logo and a brief loading screen. The game will then prompt you to select a game mode. For new players, we highly recommend starting with Normal Mode to learn the ropes without excessive pressure. Survival and Permadeath modes offer a significantly tougher challenge, while Creative mode allows for boundless building without resource constraints.
