The Orb of True Knowledge (and the Amulet of Yendor)

One of Noita's earliest and most significant secrets is the Orb of True Knowledge, which is crucial for reaching the true ending. Finding it is a multi-step process:

Locate the Desert Chasm: From the starting mountain, head directly left across the surface. You'll eventually reach a vast desert biome. Look for a massive, deep chasm in the desert floor.
Descend into the Chasm: This descent is perilous. Be prepared for falling sand, aggressive desert creatures, and potentially dangerous spells from hidden enemies. A digging spell (like Digging Bolt or Black Hole) or a sturdy pickaxe can be invaluable for navigating the terrain.
Find the Pyramid Entrance: At the very bottom of the chasm, you'll find the entrance to the Pyramid. It's a distinct, large structure.
Navigate the Pyramid: The Pyramid is a mini-dungeon filled with unique traps and enemies. Proceed with caution. Your goal is to reach the top.
Claim the Orb: At the apex of the Pyramid, you will find the Orb of True Knowledge. Simply touching it will grant you a permanent stat boost and advance your progress towards the true ending.
The Amulet of Yendor: While not directly related to the Orb, a lesser-known secret within the Pyramid involves the Amulet of Yendor. After acquiring the Orb, return to the very bottom of the Pyramid. Look for a hidden passage or a destructible wall near the entrance. Inside, you'll find a pedestal with the Amulet. This artifact grants a significant defense bonus and is a must-have for longer runs.

The Giant Tree and the Heart of the World

Far to the right of the starting mountain lies another monumental secret: the Giant Tree. This location holds a powerful artifact and a challenging encounter.

Journey East: From the starting mountain, travel a significant distance to the right across the surface. You will eventually encounter a massive, ancient tree that dwarfs the landscape.
Ascend the Tree: The Giant Tree is a vertical challenge. Flying spells (Levitation, Spark Bolt with Trigger + Explosion) are highly recommended. Watch out for unique tree-dwelling enemies and environmental hazards.
Locate the Heart: Near the very top of the Giant Tree, embedded within its colossal trunk, you'll discover the Heart of the World.
The Guardian Encounter: Approaching the Heart will awaken a powerful, tree-like guardian. This boss fight requires careful positioning and a strong offensive wand. Spells that deal fire or explosive damage are often effective.
Reward: Defeating the guardian grants you access to the Heart, which can be interacted with to gain a permanent health increase. There's also often a rare, powerful wand or spell nearby as a bonus reward.

The Lava Lake and the Essence of Fire

Below the main path, deep within the fiery depths, lies a vast lava lake concealing a vital essence.

Reach the Hiisi Base or Deeper: This secret is typically accessed from the Hiisi Base or deeper biomes. You'll need a way to safely traverse lava.
Digging Down: Look for areas within the Hiisi Base or subsequent levels that appear to have a bottomless pit of lava. You'll need a powerful digging spell like Black Hole or a very fast digging wand to bore through the rock and reach the massive underground lava lake.
Lava Immunity: Before attempting this, ensure you have immunity to fire and lava damage. The Fire Immunity perk is ideal. Alternatively, a flask of Ambrosia can provide temporary invulnerability, but it's risky for extended exploration.
Locate the Essence: Once in the lava lake, swim or fly carefully. The Essence of Fire is usually found within a small, distinct structure or chamber submerged in the lava. It often looks like a glowing, pulsating orb.
Acquire the Essence: Touching the Essence of Fire will grant you a permanent increase to your maximum health and a significant resistance to fire damage, making future fiery encounters much more manageable.
