Prologue: The Initial Anomaly

Your journey begins amidst a jarring awakening. The station is in disarray, and your primary objective is to re-establish basic functionality and understand the immediate crisis.

Part I: Re-establishing Core Systems

  1. Initial Diagnostics: Upon gaining control, you'll find yourself in a heavily damaged section. Your first task is to run a system diagnostic. Navigate to the nearest Diagnostic Terminal, typically indicated by a flashing red light. Interact with it to initiate the scan.
  2. Power Restoration: The diagnostic will reveal critical power failures. You need to locate and activate the Emergency Power Conduit. This is usually found in a utility corridor adjacent to the main hub. Follow the illuminated power lines on the floor to guide you. Once there, interact with the large, sparking panel to restore partial power.
  3. Communication Array Repair: With some power restored, your next priority is communication. Head towards the Comms Tower Access hatch, often located on an upper level accessible via a nearby ladder or maintenance shaft. Inside, you'll find a damaged Antenna Alignment Console. You'll need to complete a simple circuit puzzle to re-align the antenna. Look for the missing Circuit Board A-7, which is usually lying on a workbench nearby. Insert it and complete the connection.

  1. Accessing Security Feeds: The Emergency Data Log 001 will point towards unusual activity in the Research Sector. To gain visual confirmation, you'll need to access the station's security feeds. Head to the Security Monitoring Station, usually marked with a blue camera icon on your internal map. Interact with the main console to cycle through the available cameras. Pay close attention to feeds from the Research Sector for any abnormalities.
  2. Locating the Anomaly Signature: While reviewing feeds, you'll likely spot a distinct energy signature emanating from a specific lab within the Research Sector. Your objective will update to "Investigate Lab 3B."
  3. Bypassing Lab Security: Lab 3B is locked down. You'll need to find the Lab Access Keycard (Level 3). This keycard is often found on a deceased crew member in the adjacent corridor or in a nearby locker. Once you have the keycard, use it on the door panel to gain entry.
