Ascension Levels Explained

The Ascension system in Outriders' Worldslayer expansion offers a new and sificant avenue for character progression, allowing players to further enhance their chosen Outrider's capabilities beyond the standard level cap. Upon reaching a certain point in the game, players will begin to earn Ascension Points, which can then be invested into three distinct trees: Endurance, Brutality, and Prowess. Each tree offers a selection of passive bonuses that cater to different playstyles and character builds. For instance, the Endurance tree might focus on increasing maximum health by a percentage, or reducing incoming damage. The Brutality tree, on the other hand, could offer boosts to critical hit damage or weapon leech. Prowess typically enhances ability power, cooldown reduction, or anomaly power.

You can allocate these Ascension Points strategically to fine-tune their character's performance. For a tankier build, investing heavily in Endurance would be beneficial, potentially increasing survivability by a notable margin. Conversely, a damage-focused build might prioritize Brutality and Prowess to maximize their offensive output. Each point invested contributes to a cumulative increase in power, allowing for highly specialized builds. For example, a player might choose to invest 10 points into Endurance, granting a 5% increase to maximum health, and then 15 points into Brutality, providing a 7.5% increase to critical hit damage. The system is desed to provide a continuous sense of progression, rewarding players for their continued engagement with the game by offering tangible improvements to their character's stats and combat effectiveness, making them better equipped to face the escalating challenges of Worldslayer.
