The true power of an Outrider lies not just in their individual abilities, but in their capacity to combine and synergize status effects for devastating battlefield control. Understanding these interactions can turn a challenging encounter into a swift victory, especially when facing formidable foes like the **Alpha Perforo** or groups of **Strogg** in the **Deadrock Pass**.
One potent combination involves applying the **Vulnerability** status effect, which increases incoming damage by 25%, followed by a high-damage ability or weapon attack. This can be achieved with abilities like the **Weakening Blast** or certain weapon mods. If the target is then afflicted with **Bleed**, the increased damage from Vulnerability will amplify the Bleed damage sificantly.
Another powerful synergy exists between **Freeze** and **Shatter**. When an enemy is Frozen, they become brittle. Subsequent damage, particularly explosive or melee damage, will cause them to shatter, dealing area-of-effect damage to nearby enemies. This is exceptionally useful for crowd control, allowing you to eliminate multiple weaker enemies simultaneously.
